I always hated flying.
I hate the buzzing sounds of people moving around in an airport.
I hate being more than nine thousand feet above ground.
I always preferred driving to another country, state, or town, than flying. No matter how long it took.
But this was an exception.
It's an emergency.
An emergency which needs my immediate presence.
I picked my bag as soon as I heard the flight to Georgia being called. I'd have to drive for three hours before I could get to Oaksville.

The place I have dreaded ever since three years ago.
The place where I lost everything.
The place I vowed I'd never come back to.
Nobody knew when I left. And I wanted to keep it that way. They wouldn't know where I am, and I wouldn't come back.
