"You didn't even sound hesitant when you said that." she said, strengthening her question.
"… There was this child."
"A child?"
"Yes, a child," Noah nodded as he said it again, making sure that the witch didn't misheard him. He didn't want a repeat the miscommunication they had previously.
"It was a girl… with white hair and red eyes."
Agatha smirked, almost laughing at his claim. "What nonsense…" A girl with white hair and red eyes? That's just bizarre… "Are you sure you didn't hallucinate anything inside this cave?"
"No," Noah scowled, a bit offended by her words. "I'm very sure I knew what I saw."
Agatha's eyebrow twitched. "Fine. Anyway… Unless that child is capable of magic and has a stronger magical power than I, no one can rewrite the markings I made."
"I wasn't lying," he said, meaning every word to prove that he wasn't making up stories to mislead her.
