71: A Familiar Calling
Lara continued to brush Noah's hair as he slept. She watched over him quietly, studying the features on his face.
She leaned her head to one side as she watched him. She sighed. Looking at him now, Lara realized how long his eyelashes were… They were thick and they curtained his eyes like a beautiful black veil, making his electric blue eyes glow. The shape of his nose was a perfect slope. It was unbelievably perfect and well-formed than she thought. No one must have ever broken his nose for it to be this flawless, right?
She was about to trace her fingers on his nose when Noah suddenly stirred, making her flinch- her hands frozen in mid-air as he turned to the other side and went back to sleep. Lara blinked. Is he asleep again? She leaned in to look at his face, and when his eyes were perfectly closed and his breathing in an even tempo, Lara sighed in relief.
