64: Awkward Dinner
Stunned to her bones. Lara wasn't able to react immediately. Standing at the banks of the pool was her maid, Avery, gaping at them both as she stared at her and Noah, shock written on her face. Shit!
"M-My lady?"
Out of impulse, Lara pushed Noah to the water. But obviously it was too late.
Avery saw them together. And they were kissing. Kissing! And she was very confused. What is going on here?
Lara cursed at herself as she apologized. Helping Noah up from the water, "I'm sorry! I am so sorry." Noah spluttered and coughed.
"I think you're really aiming to drown me this time." He joked, saying those words in between coughs and Lara glared at him.
It was unintentional!
Avery looked back and forth at her mistress and the gardener. Yes, she recognized the man.
