50: The Other Side
Noah awoke from his slumber, gasping for oxygen as he slumped forward, landing on the cold tiled floor.
He groaned as a searing headache pierced into his skull. He tried to rectify himself but he couldn't stop cursing and staggering ahead, not enjoying his weakness.
Dammit! His throat ached, so he coughed.
Water!
He was thirsty!
His throat was dry, and he felt as if he had just stepped out of a freezer after being locked inside for a day.
He couldn't feel any of his limbs!
Noah stared at himself, relieved that he was still clad in the white T-shirt and loose jeans that Stefani had forced him to wear before he passed out.
Noah took a look around now that he was awake. There was a man in front of him who seemed to be waiting for him to wake up since the man approached him, holding two mugs in his hands.
