Parisa didn't say anything for a while but Imani knew she was still there and she didn't say anything else either. "Imani," the woman finally said in a small voice and it sounded like she was about to cry. "... You don't understand."
"What don't I understand Parisa? That you –" She glanced at the running tap and realized that she shouldn't say much because she wasn't sure it would work. "Do you really understand the severity of what you've done?"
Imani was angry and it was not only because they made her inadvertently in on it by using the virus she created as a weapon but also because people were dying.
"Imani –"
"The repercussions? There is no solution on ground for this," she added and the woman sniffled. "There is a really high chance that this blows up in your face. Did you not think that through?"
"I'm sorry, Imani. I'm deeply sorry... but you don't understand. I had no control over this."
"What do you mean you had no control over this?"
