Imani didn't respond after Nikolay said that and he assumed that she was angry that Aksel was still alive after what he did to her.
"I would go kill him now if you want me to," he stated as he placed his hand on the side of her face and her eyebrows shot up in surprise at how callously he said that. She knew that was how he was but she still couldn't help but be surprised.
"Or if it's Aryna –"
"No, no, it's nothing... It's fine," she said as she held his arm and gave him a small smile. She did want Aksel dead but she wasn't going to say so. Besides, Nikolay already said he would be dead soon.
