rehearsals soon finished in time for lunch and the band exited the venue
reunited with Kanna, Melody, and the three other kids in the lobby of the main building where they had separated before
saying goodbye to Niaomi and their staff who was also leaving
"hey, guys how were rehearsals?" Melody asked greeting Zane with a kiss
"it went smoothly" Zane replied
"We had the best performance out of everyone else there,
I mean other performers were good but when we got on there was a big difference on awards night when we hit we will own the stage it will be the Silver Shadows Show no doubt"
"great sounds like you guys are ready to clean house," Kanna said proudly "you guys will kill it"
'what about you guys did you all have fun?" Liam asked
"The kids yes we did," Quin said with a grin
"We saw and did everything even watched movies" Sadeska added
"it was awesome and Melody let us film it was a lot of fun," Rhakem said
"Great! then with our rehearsals over, are you kids ready to have lunch? and spend
the rest of the day with us?" Kaleb asked
"yes!"
the three replied elated Ziya was awake again and was joining in on the mood
making cute happy squeals that made everyone laugh shes so cute
"I wonder if she even understands properly?" Kanna asked
"she can sense the vibe," Daisuke said "she knows everyone is happy and so she's being happy too" he stroked her hair
"let's get out of here guys" they left the venue returning to the parking lot
seeing their bus leaving as they all got into the Horizon Plane with the kids
"where are we going for lunch? Sadeska asked
"Astro Shack!" came back a union of voices from the others
everyone burst into laughter
Kanna put an arm around the Sadeska as they lifted off with Kaleb at the controls
"We are on the third level the Astro Shack up here has a mega play park," Kaleb said
"you kids are going to have a hella fun time"
they zipped through traffic flying in the lanes between the buildings
and being able to look out the window and see into someones home
or an office building filled with busy people working
unlike most of the first and second levels, the city streets on the third level were above ground level
"waah!" the kids cried in delight gazing out the window
"it's so amazing!" Sadeska cried
"my parents won't believe me if I told them all the things we saw out here" Rhakem breathed
he was holding a small camera that melody had gifted him recording the views out of the window
Quin was gazing out the window his eyes wide as if trying to swallow in all the sights at once
Daisuke chuckled watching them happy they got to experience
some happy memories they won't forget despite the ordeal they had been through he hoped it would ease some of the fear they had initially experienced
on their first encounter with the bigger world hopefully, the experience would not
be so traumatizing for them later he ruffled Rhakem's hair the boy had a lot of potential
with his interest in technology he had a budding future, with that thought in mind he got out his phone and called Xierien
"hey, how are things going? he asked him when he picked up
"Daisuke hi we are working on sending the kids home" he replied
"maybe by tomorrow, we managed to procure enough ships to create the bridge,
its a matter of them arriving at the set locations everything is proceeding well"
"thats good" Daisuke replied "I want to do something for the kids a send-off gift
these kids are all very special in their own way it would be wonderful if we could support them somehow after this,
"especially Rhakem he's quite bright, loves technology, and he's the type, to want to study
and I can see him probably becoming something in the future if he has the support"
"sounds like you have gotten quite attached to him," Xierien said with a chuckle
"I wish these kids go back to have a happy life after this with their families" Daisuke replied
"how are the financial situations of their families?"
"I would have to look into it further" xierien replied, "what are you thinking?"
"can we make a trust fund for these kids?" he asked, "or just give them an account with some money in it they could use it for their education send them to good schools and such?"
"That sounds like a wonderful idea!" xierien said "actually the families will deserve some kind of compensation after everything they have been through me and the king have been discussing something similar"
"Xierien you will make sure they get this money? I'm trusting you with this" Daisuke said
"so as long as someone is willing to help even a few of our children we are happy to accommodate that however, we can I will discuss with the king what can be done, don't worry, ill take care of it," Xierien said
"thank you", Daisuke replied
"you're very welcome Daisuke I will call back about the details to get the children home"
Sienna on his other side put a hand on top of his quietly overhearing his call
her mates kindness and heart knew no bounds "can I help too maybe I can also give them something, in fact, I will I'll give them something they can enjoy now" she said nodding her head
they reached Astro shack and sienna unstrapped Ziya's bag passing her to Daisuke "Please hold her for me you guys go take the kids to eat I'll meet you I have to go do something" sienna said getting off the plane
"where are you off to?" Daisuke called after her as she walked into the mall she smiled "be right back!" before disappearing inside
sienna went to the nearest tech store in the mall "hi I looking for some tech for three children
I want three PC Holo Tablets appropriate for teenagers please" she said to the sales clerk
who smiled at her and quickly showed her the latest models she got them in three colors
red for Rhakem pink for Sadeska and blue for Quin
she bought them matching colored tablet carry pack cases
that would enable kids to attach the tablet to their arms for easy carrying and would also
prevent the tablets from being damaged easily they also doubled as phones
so each child would have their own communication device as well handheld pc
"I would like to pay for a full network connection as well add them to my current account so they come as one bill make sure they have full intergalactic coverage they are going to Huassain
in fact id like to update my phone as well while I'm here" she took out her device she had it for a number of years already it survived a lot she thought fondly
"Miss, would you like to purchase a new device? that model is outdated you know," the salesperson said "sure why not" she replied with a smile
the salesman got to work on the computer setting up the devices and she turned them on and transferred her contact data
and that of their parents to each child and turned on the devices tracking functions
she made her back to Astro shack with a gift bag anticipating the kid's reactions
they were already seated in a family booth of the restaurant
"guys, I'm back guess what got for you kids?" Sienna said holding it behind her back
"what is it a gift for us?" Sadeska asked
"yes it's something you can take home with you, and you can use it to do many things
but you must take good care of them ok" Sienna said "promise me"
"We promise," Rhakem said
"I promise too," quin said
"I promise to use it wisely whatever it is," sadeska said
sienna you are spoiling them Kanna said
"no, I'm not," she said taking out Rhakem's and putting it into his hands
"Woah this is for me really?" he cried in delight "thank you" he cried
"it's a full pc so you can also study with it if you want ok," sienna told him
he nodded "you're the best big sister in the world," he said giving her a hug he strapped it to his arm to test out its case with a grin
"This is so cool!" he turned on the device and a holo projection of his screen appeared
"the holo features are so cool"
he took it off his hand and set on the ground the device cast projected images on the air creating holograms of various things the computer was providing
the information about the various items in tags around the items that he could open to study the parts they were all different pieces of technology
wow he breathed he sat down and then turned on another feature that allowed him
to manipulate the projection he began to pull apart one of the pieces of technology and disassembled
it into its individual parts and began looking at it "wow I can see it from every
angle it's almost like it's real" he breathed holding it in his hand "Sienna truly thank you I can learn so much from this"
"I guess there goes playtime?" Liam said amused "or more like this is his idea of playtime,
he's going to have a field day with that and all the gizmos he could learn about" he chuckled
"I don't just want to learn about them I want to build my own" Rhakem said "someday"
"sadeska I got a cute color for you," sienna said giving her
she started crying as she hugged sienna
"thank you so much it's ok no need to cry," sienna said stroking her hair she nuzzled
sienna to show her affection her tail wagging a mile a minute
"I put your parent's numbers inside the phones of all your devices and
mine and Daisuke's is in there too" Sienna said "you can call your parents anytime ok and
you can call us anytime after you go home too ok!"
"I'm going to miss you so much Sienna" she cried
"I'm going to miss you too baby," sienna said hugging her
"but you miss your parents more don't you?" sienna asked
she nodded her head "I miss my parents a lot"
"see so you have to go home, your parent's miss you the most," Sienna said
"Quin, I didn't forget about you," sienna said stooping to the little whiskered boy's height and taking his from the bag she gently strapped it to
his shoulder "thank you Sienna this is the best gift I ever got it's not even my birthday!" he said
"It doesnt need to be your birthday to receive a gift Quin" she replied smiling
ruffling his hair the boy threw himself on her purring away with happiness
my goodness sienna cried as the three children surrounded
her she was almost falling over under the weight of the three happy children's affection
Daisuke chuckled "alright kids let her sit down arent we all hungry?"
they all soon ordered food for the whole group and everyone was eating and talking and having a good time
unsurprisingly Ziya and Quin especially loved icecream
it was hard to get the boy to not eat too much once he was exposed to the creamy
desert
"Somebody needs to open an ice cream shop on Huassain," Sadeska said
"it's too yummy we have to take some home and let our parents taste some"
"I don't want to live not tasting ice cream again," Quin said very seriously
at the moment he a smudge of ice cream on his nose and his little bits of it on his whiskers
everybody started laughing it was so cute "I need a picture of this" Kanna said getting her phone
taking pictures of him like that "my goodness it's so adorable"
"let's get you cleaned up my little buddy," Kaleb said reaching for a napkin while trying to stifle his own laughter
and Rhakem gorged on burgers sienna wondered how the boy was putting it away it was like he was never going to eat it again
"Theres no Astros hack on Huassain is there?" she asked "nope" Sadeska replied she was devouring a four meat pizza all by herself with a large chocolate milkshake
"how do your parents feed you?" these kids had some huge appetites it had not escaped her notice
"if we have a child it's going to eat this much all the time?" Sienna asked Daisuke
"their bodies need a high protein diet to fuel everything from their physical growth to their developed senses to the brain that controls all the other body parts that most human children don't have their bodies also develop rapidly so they burn calories much faster than a human child does as well," Daisuke said
"note to self save a ton of money just for meat in the future, it's hella expensive to raise a Huassain child," she said
Daisuke chuckled
"Ziya you will have to eat like this once you get bigger? How will my mother manage?" Sienna asked
"she has a mate," Daisuke said "I'm sure if he wasn't able to provide for his mate, he would not have had the baby yet, stop imagining the worst-case scenario all the time"
he put an arm around her and ruffled her hair he dropped a kiss on her nose "cheer up a little bit ok," he said softly
she nodded ruefully "I mean it" he insisted leaning in and kissing her jaw
"Daisuke!" she gasped pushing his face away "not in front of the kids" she was blushing and bright-eyed on the verge of giggling "thats better," he said softly drawing back
it was mildly chaotic at their table like one big noisy family
some people noticed thinking they were quite the lively family
a few other people recognized the members of the band and were quick to take photos and posting online
soon a viral buzz was going online Silver Shadows was at Astro Shack accompanied by three children and a baby
everyone was looking at the pictures and wondering who the kids were? where did they come from? they were Huassain children were they Daisuke's family members perhaps? people could only speculate
but the consensus was how adorable and cute the kids were how much the band looked like a family
sienna with a baby and Daisuke next to her looked like a young pair of doting parents
Sienna and Daisuke took the kids to play park after their meal
it was a huge playground filled with swirly slides, swings, bumper cars, a carousel, a pirate ship treehouse
on which the kids could come up with all manner of imaginative games to play complete with rope
ladders and things for climbing on and swinging on even sails that actually opened and closed and best of all
a treasure chest filled with pirate costumes the kids could wear and fake swords they could use as weapons
and fake treasure, when they entered
the play park the fun was on in full swing and it was noisy chaos as there were so many other children there already
and three children didn't need to be told anything as they happily took off into the fray to play with the other kids
later photos were posted of the members of the band in the mega play park playing with the kids
