Daisuke sat up straighter in surprise watching in amazement as her voice came out so soft and airy as she did the opening vocals of the song,
she sounded like she was singing and whispering at the same
and then she went into the rap verses she sang while dancing and she knew every move and hit every note, even the high ones
it was in a language he didn't understand but it was beautiful, sienna could sing as the song came to a close
"why didn't you tell me you could sing?" he asked,
"you know you're going to sing on debut album right?"
"am i really that good?" she asked doubtfully
"are you kidding me? your voice is beautiful sienna!" he said
"What language is that by the way, it sounds so melodic?"
"I'm from New Seoul Korea," she said blushing "its the Korean language since Earth 1 we are kind of huge for our entertainment industry," she explained "but we also had technology and stuff that other countries didn't have since the beginning, our music is called Kpop or Korean pop music,
music fans from all over the planet, would become fans of our bands, and listen to our music,
each band has its own fandom that follows them. and each fandom had a name that was related to the band,
the song I just sang is from one of our biggest bands BTS their fandom was named ARMY
I Need You is a classic from their early albums
they are one of my favorite bands of all time, they were a group that came from a poor label,
and they wrote and produced their own songs,
and they really represented the kids of our generation,
they sang about our struggles, which was something a lot of other bands weren't doing at the time,
they pretty much started the youth revolution on Earth 1, before the youth revolution was even a thing,
they sang about self-love and gave a lot of kids inspiration and motivation and told them to not give up their dreams and things like that,
and a lot of kids who were struggling would naturally gravitate to them and become their fans they would always say the BTS saved them during hard times
BTS had this way of writing songs and releasing them at the perfect times when everyone needed music to brighten whatever bad things were going on around us, they were like a light for a lot of kids"
she started the next song which had an unusual sound to it but it was very catchy and had sexy dance moves performed by a girl group
the screen behind her four beautiful girls sang and danced
that was a girl group called "Mamamoo" their song "Egotistic" she said when the song was done
"what type of music was that it sounded very different from the one before?" he asked
"there was a period of time where kpop groups were incorporating,
styles of music, that came from other countries and cultures, to make their music more global" she explained
"that was known as the Latin tropical music originating from the Caribbean, and Africa, it was actually really popular as a genre
because tropical music can have different style and sound depending on which part of the Caribbean it comes from" she explained
"i'll show you what I mean" she sang and performed a song called "Forever Young" by another girl group named "BLACKPINK"
Daisuke was amazed as sienna sang danced and rapped and enjoyed the song
understanding what she meant about the difference in the sound, that was similar but had a distinct sound and style a flavor that made it different from the latin style
he enjoyed learning about his mate's culture and where she came from
after that, she sang a few more songs, behind her videos of her favorite bands were playing on the screen she
would always excitedly tell him the names of the bands and point out her favorite members,
he understood her love for her native planets music, it was catchy with great melodies,
and the bands were really talented at making music performing and entertaining their fans, hey had also a warm connection with their fans, treating their fans like close friends who accompanied them,
connecting with them on the local social media platforms, so the fans felt almost like they knew each member of the band personally
it also gave him glimpses of what life on Earth 2 was like, so he was gradually understanding more about his mate
"come here!" he called her to come sit pulling her into his arms
"take a break, have a drink!" he said putting a bottle in her hands "I didn't bring you out to entertain me so its time for me sing something for you," he said with smile
"I thought you didn't want to sing?" she shot at him he smirked and got up and picked up
the microphone putting on one of his favorite sexy songs
when he started singing he put on a show just for her that made sienna want to melt into her seat
as he sang while gazing at her with heated eyes moving his hips in a sexy way and even lifting his shirt exposing his muscular body
as the song came to end sienna was flushed and wide eyed as he came towards her
pulling her into his arms, "come dance with me"
he said as the next song came on another r&b song he danced with her his movements meant to entice and seduce
"How did you learn to dance like this?" she asked as held her against him from behind moving his hips to the song
this is how I dance only for you he said and kissing her ear she leaned back further against his shoulder as his lips claimed hers her fingers curling into the hair at the nape of his neck,
his arms held her tightly one hand, held her face in a warm palm
"all passengers we are nearing the blue end of the river, that flows into the Misty Nebula"
a voice announced throughout the ship
"All passengers may enjoy views of the nebula from the various decks",
sienna and Daisuke left the karaoke room and headed for the deck
"wow it's so beautiful" she cried they had come to a stop at the edge of where the river turned from purple to blue and fell off the edge like a waterfall,
into the nebula below, turning into gasses so that blue clouds of mist drifted around,
far in the distance on the other side of the nebula, was the golden ring of sand
known as nebulae beach, that was accessible from the other side of the city
Daisuke wrapped his arms around sienna's middle hugging her from behind
while she stood at the rails his chin resting on her shoulder
she reached up and curled her hand into his hair stroking
the back of his head and nape
we should take a picture she said softly Daisuke got
out his phone with one hand and snapped
a photo of them with the nebula in the background
"beautiful," he said smiling he turned his head and kissed her cheek while taking another photo making her giggle
the ship soon turned around and started back
up the river they enjoyed the scenery until a dinner meal was served on the dining deck again
with a full stomach sienna began to feel drowsy
she leaned against Daisuke's chest as he held her "tired?" he asked
she yawned and nodded "just a little bit the rocking motions of the ship feels so nice right now"
he chuckled and cradled her head against his shoulder
"take a nap then until we get back, ill wake you when we reach port"
she nodded sleepily and dozed off
not long after they reached the port once more and
it was time to disembark the ship, Daisuke
carried a sleeping sienna in his arms off the ship and took a taxi back home,
she woke up in the taxi halfway home opening her eyes to see herself in his arms in the backseat of
taxi plane
"I thought you said you would wake me when we got back to port?"
he smiled and poked her dimple gently "you looked too peaceful and adorable so I let you sleep" he said pinching her cheek
she smiled softly "we are almost home already so no worries"
