It is now back to present time after Hana finishes telling him her past. There was no trace of her usual happy expressions; the only part that was true to herself was expressing how she felt. All the emotions she felt began to flood out as she looked back to her old life at her village surrounded with the people she loved and them loving her back as well. Fran just sat there listening to her and watched her without saying a word. Until she had calmed down and started regaining composure did he speak.
Fran: "Hana. I'm sure you'll be able to regain what you've lost in due time. Being able to get it off your chest was a step forward for you I'm sure. If you don't mind I'd like to help you."
He spoke those words softly with each word chosen with care.
Hana was facing down, embarrassed with herself but when she heard his words she looked up and faced him. Her vision of him was still blurry as tears still flowed down her face but unlike before she was able to smile at him. Why? Because she had been waiting for someone to say those words to her for a long time.
Hana: "Will you be with me?"
Fran: "For as long as I can."
After their exchange of words they paid their bill and walked to the inn without saying a word. Hana holding onto his right arm she was smiling as she thought to herself. "While today didn't go as I thought it would, I'm glad I was finally able to tell someone."
