After Fran leaves Bon's place he goes back to the inn.
Receptionist: "Welcome back how did it go."
Fran: "It went great. Bon agreed to teach me how to use magic but I'll be starting tomorrow so I came back here."
Receptionist: "That's great I'm honestly surprised you got him to accept to teach you magic since he's never accepted anyone before. So what did you do to get him to accept to teach you? I'm curious."
Fran: "Nothing really. I just answered the questions he asked me and then he accepted after hearing my responses."
Receptionist: "Hmm is that so. Well anyways since you were able to get him to teach you I got something you might want to know about."
Fran: "What is it?"
Receptionist: " I heard that there's a tournament that's going to happen in 3 months in the Kingdom's capital city. It happens every year, the only ones able to join are the ones that just got transported here this year like yourself and regular citizens that pass the test and qualify are allowed to enter in it. I didn't tell you about this before because I didn't think it was worth telling you if you didn't know any magic yet but since you got accepted by the old man I decided I should let you know."
Fran: "A tournament? Why would I join it do I get something if I win itand what type of tournament is it."
Receptionist: "I don't know all that much about the details of the tournament since I've never been to it but I've heard that the winner always gets a reward from the king. As for what type of tournament it is, I can't tell you since every year I hear the king switches it up so you won't know until the day of the tournament."
Fran: "Well I guess I'll go to it if there's going to be a reward and it would also be a good chance to fight some people and get more experience."
Receptionist: "It takes about a month to get there by foot just so you know so I think it'll be best if you leave 2 months before because you never know what happens when you travel so it's best so you have a month worth of time to work with if something happens."
Fran: "I guess I'll only be able to train for a month. Well I hope that's enough time for the basics at least."
Receptionist: "Good luck with the training you have my support."
Fran: "Thanks and by the way what's your name I never got it."
Receptionist: "My name is Hana Rios, what about yours."
Fran: "My name is Fran Aikawa. I'll look forward to being acquainted with you for the rest of the month."
Hana: "I do as well."
Fran: "Oh ya since I'll be in town for a month, how much would that cost me since I paid for one day last night."
Hana: "If you plan on staying here for a month that would cost you 240 dollars."
Fran: Guess I'll pay in advance so I don't have to pay every day. "Here's the money for the month. Is it the same room as before."
Hana: "Yes, that'll be your room."
Fran: "Well goodbye then I'll be going to my room now I don't want to bother you for too long while you're working."
Hana: "Fran, do you want to have dinner together when I'm done with my work. Of course you don't have to but I'd like to get to know you better and I could also answer any other questions you have about our world to the best that I can so you'll get something out of it as well."
Fran: "Sure I don't have anything else to do today anyways."
Hana: "Really?! I'll come to your room when I'm done then!"
Fran: "Ok good luck with work I'll see you later."
Hana: "Goodbye."
Fran goes to his room and sits on a chair.
Fran: I wonder why she gives me a strange feeling when talking to her but maybe it's just her personality. It works in my favor for now anyways so I won't complain.
