Tense, shaking, and restless how Ellie felt when he was in front of the door. He did not recognize how Alex would react when he saw the mysteries inside his room. The only thing he could think of was that Alex will despise him or that she might avoid him. He entered the room and when he saw Alex smiling as she glanced at his bookshelf full of novels. She thought about his collection of figurines from Wishing Upon A Star and other novels were cute. It amazed her because it was the first time she had seen this kind of room.
"This is cute," she said as she touches the bookshelf.
Ellie gasped when she heard Alex's reaction. "Can I hold one?" she requested as she smiles at him.
Ellie just nodded. Alex touches his cute figurines from the characters of his favorite novel. She also picks one of his books from the bookshelf and she reads some chapters of it. He seems that she's enjoying it, and he suddenly feels happy.
"You will not leave me?" he asked sadly.
"Why?" Ellie is still silent as in the still can't believe it. He thought she would leave him if she sees his room. "Ah! I want to read your favorite novel!" she happily said as she smiles at him.
Ellie lent his Wishing Upon A Star novel to Alex and she reads it. While they are reading, he glances at her if she's enjoying it. He saw that she's really enjoying it. Every chapter she read, she laughed, amazed, and most of all, she felt the romantic excitement of the story.
"This Isabelle uses magic, right? She used it to Catarina for her to be with her Prince Charming. It's nice," she said to him nicely and smiles. She kept reading the novel as Ellie keeps staring at her. He thought that magic can change everything, even himself.
"What's wrong, Ellie?" she suddenly asked when she saw him staring at her.
"N-Nothing… I was thinking the same thing."
"What do you mean?" she asked as she flipped the book.
"When I first knew Isabelle in the story. I thought the same thing,"
"Really?" she asked while she's smiling. Ellie just nodded to her. She laughed modestly as she thought the same thing. "This is the first time to you, huh? That we were on the same length," Ellie really thought the same thing and he smiles briefly.
As the time goes by, Ellie accompanied her to the park to say goodbye to her. He seemed that nothing bad happened on their date.
"I-I really enjoyed it…" Ellie mumbled.
Alex smiles at him, and this is the first time that he enjoyed their date.
"Is that so?" she asked, and she suddenly kisses him at his cheek. "See you at school!" she waved at him and walked away.
Ellie suddenly fell silent as he felt her kiss. He felt that he's going to die and so he fell down on the surface. Many thoughts came to his mind, but he wonders if this is the magic of love that Alex expressed on him as he saw the blue sky. He didn't know if he's going to be happy or something that he didn't felt before.
Isabelle popped out next to him as she makes ambulance noise. "Hey! Are you dead?" she asked him sarcastically.
"Even someone like me… I wonder if I can fall in love too?" he asked her as he didn't expect to feel that.
"Hmph! You should quit! I won't pick up your bones when you're dead! Smooch! Don't give me that crap," she told him, and she smacked her wand to his forehead.
"Ow...."
Can it be that Ellie will fall in love with her too?
