"Ye-jun wake up! It's time for your hunter test!".
"Yeah, mom I won't be late don't worry!".
A man in his twenties stood up, he was really handsome and looked quite smart, his eyes were blue, as blue as ice. His name was "Ye-jun" and he was born on the day when the dungeons arrived, so he was born with abilities other people don't have.
Only 1 out of 10 people have an ability (are chosen to be a hunter), and while Ye-jun was growing up, he had always wanted to join a guild and became a hero like the hunters he saw on TV.
Hunters are real heroes! Hunters earn a lot while saving people, especially with dungeons popping up all over the world and with the fact that if a dungeon is not cleaned within the 7 days, all kinds of creatures can come out of the portals. Therefore the job "hunter" was recognized as a real job after only one year, and various guilds were formed.
Being a Hunter had many good sides, but nobody paid any attention to the bad parts. If you are a successful hunter then you can achieve a lot, but if you are only a low-ranked hunter you can only work as a porter.
Hunters were rated E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and X, increasing power with each rank, and there were only 3 big guilds and 15 S rank hunters in Seoul. Ye-Jun came from a relatively poor family but when he heard about the "Hunter" job when he was little, he found out that he too was one of those people with powers.
Yu-jin dressed and went to the hunter association. In the hunters association, the people there measure your rank and give a hunter certificate. This certificate is obtained after completing the Hunter test.

"Finally today will be the day where I can gain the capability to support my family!" Yu-Jun said with a confident voice. Since if he can get a high rank he can get to take part directly in a raid, this would help him as a successful raid can bring over 1,000,000 won!
The hunter association building was impressive. He went in and went straight to the receptionist.
"Hello, I'm Mi-Young, how can I help you?" asked the receptionist.
"I would like to register as a hunter," Ye-Jun said with a smile.
"Yes, please give me your name, age, and identification Id and we can begin," the receptionist said with a smile.
"Name Sung Ye-Jun, Age 20" Ye-Jun said and took his id out.
"Thank you! Please give me one minute. I need to check the authenticity of the documents, please take a seat and wait. I'll come back with everything after." The receptionist said.
It took a while but then she came back with everything verified and handed his identification id back to him.
"Thank you for your patience, we've done the identify check and now we come to the hunter test, I'll give you a little tutorial on how to do it". The receptionist said with a smile and Ye-jun needed that information because he was never in a dungeon.
"Well you will enter now a "Dual Dungeon ``. These dungeons have some stages but we already cleared those big monsters for you so don't worry. This dungeon has over 30 stages and the more stages you climb the higher your rank is. Before you enter the dungeon, please take a weapon and some armor we've for all classes a good weapon so just choose. You can also bring the monsters back to sell their parts!" the receptionist said.
"Well thank you, now can I choose my weapon and enter the dungeon, please?" Ye-Jun was extremely excited and couldn't wait any more when they walked into the weapon room he chose 2 daggers.
"Well the portal will open soon so just wait, also don't mind these people around you. They are just some scouts of guilds. If you can reach at least rank D or C they will ask you to join their guild." the receptionist said and made a smile.
"Ok thank you very much!" Ye-Jun's voice was filled with excitement.

Sometimes later. . .
A portal opened in a room and a man stood in front of it, the man had blue-white eyes that could pierce the heart of every female, his hair was fluffy and his face was thin and perfectly symmetric. He was the definition of handsome, of course, it was Ye-jun!
'Looks like I'm finally going in!' Ye-Jun thought and took his daggers, he could fight with every weapon but his favorite was the daggers, he was extremely fast, as well as silent, his reflexes were extremely good, and his reaction time was beyond human capability!
He took a deep breath and stepped into the portal, when he entered the portal he felt something call him.
"Come in. . I know what you desire. ." A soft voice said.
He ignored it because he felt like he was imagining things from his excitement. He put on a smile and clenched his fists.
"It's time to show my skills!" Ye-Jun shouted out.
When he walked for a while he saw some dire-wolves, these wolves were usually pretty strong but the ones that were selected for the test and especially the first stage were extremely weak.
Ye-Jun was relaxed as he thought, 'Weak', he smirked and began to slaughter them.
Ye-Jun was so fast that they couldn't follow his steps and couldn't hear him either!
THUD!
THUD!
THUD!
Ye-Jun killed those wolves and continues.

Sometimes later. . .
"Hm I wonder if my speed is good" Ye-Jun thought, in-truth, his speed was incredible, he cleared 5 stages in 30 minutes, which was extremely fast for a beginner! But there was a reason he was curious about that, throughout his whole life he only saw top-tier hunters on the TV and it seemed like his speed was normal!
Even if he was poor, his mother had 3 jobs, and always tried to pay for his training, she knew that his biggest dream was to be a hunter! She bought him expensive daggers so he could train with them, and even a coach so he could get trained every day and get a good workout.
Ye-Jun was not stupid, he knew how much his mother worked for him so he wanted to help his mother for everything she had done so far, she was the most precious thing in his life and the only woman he had ever loved.
He never cared about someone else due to his training and goal to become a hunter. It was pretty hard because he had a good looking body and face, and every female who met him was attracted to him, but he had no time for such things, he had to become stronger. He became emotionless to everyone except his mother; she was the light in the darkness; the only major person in his life!

3 hours later. . .
'Hm it's getting harder I think I have to leave soon. .' he reached the 8th stage, and almost all of his food and drinks were gone but he still had enough stamina to continue! (1)
Ye-Jun looked forward and thought 'I'll do this last stage and leave. I think it's a pretty good result!'.

Two hours later. . .
He entered the boss hall and saw a dire-wolf, but this time it wasn't just a small wolf, the wolf was over 6 feet tall, it had red eyes, and its fur was red. Ye-Jun felt that this monster would be the toughest foe that he had fought so far!
He ran towards the wolf.

He hit the vital points of the wolf without giving it any time to recover, it looked like he was much stronger than the wolf but in reality, he had used his full strength, he had no potions with him, he had only some things to recover like water and some food his mother made for him.
'Dang! This wolf is strong! But I can do it!'
The wolf tried to attack back, but the only thing it could hit was the clothes of Ye-Jun. That turned out to be a big mistake.
Ye-Jun got completely furious, he did not have many clothes due to his poor family.
Ye-Jun became faster and stronger. He was like a monster who went berserk!

He swung his daggers 8 times and as he continued, the wolf's inner organs were extremely injured it couldn't do anything against that speed and was now even more hurt than before!
"DIE!"
Ye-Jun appeared behind the wolf and pierced the skull of the wolf.

Ye-Jun was at his limits and felt like he had no power anymore, he had done pretty well and would be probably ranked as a C or B rank hunter!
'I think I should leave now' he took out the hearthstone he got from the hunters association. (2)
AUUUUUUUU
Ye-Jun immediately turned around and what he saw shocked him.
It was a Dire-wolf exactly like the other one but the difference was, the other wolf was now over 8 feet tall and way more muscular it was a monster that looked like it was a B-rank monster!
'FUCK!' Ye-Jun was in shock, he had to use much of his strength for the first dire-wolf and now even a stronger one appeared?
'Wow. . The world isn't fair at all, huh?' He took his daggers, and went in his fighting position and took a deep breath.
'At the very least I want to die an honorable death!'
"Come here!" Ye-Jun shouted out.
AUUUUU
The wolf attacked him so fast that Ye-Jun had no chance to move.
He tried to dodge but the wolf was way too fast, he knew it and blocked with both of his arms, his arms were now heavily injured and covered in blood.
'If it continues like this. .' Ye-Jun didn't care about anything anymore.
He took his daggers even though his arms were screaming in pain.
'My last attack!'
The wolf ran towards Ye-Jun and Ye-Jun also began to attack.
He was lost in his thoughts, this one minute felt like a whole hour, he thought about his whole life and all he saw was his mother, her warm words, her caring character, he never wanted to be born in a rich family, because he always had his mother. He was satisfied with his life, only because of his mother.
'Hm even at the end of my life, I only had my mother. . I had no friends, no relationships, only my mother, ahaha that's kinda depressing, maybe in the next life' Ye-Jun thought, the only reason why he was still alive was his mother, he had to live for her!
"GODDAMMIT DIE!" He screamed and he dodged the claws of the wolf and hit a vital point, and the inner organ that he hit got heavily injured.
Both of them, the wolf and Ye-Jun were now completely spent, but the wolf still had more stamina than Ye-Jun. Ye-Jun fell to the ground and again came a voice...
"Let... me... help... you," a dark voice said it was the same voice that he heard when he entered the dungeon.
"Let me help you. ."The voice repeated.
'I'm already at my lowest point, so why not' Ye-Jun thought.
"H. . H. . How?" He was now completely out of stamina and couldn't really talk.
"Do you want to get stronger? Do you want to be alive?" The voice asked.
"Y. Y.. Yes." Ye-Jun thought that the voice was only in his imagination, he didn't want to talk, but he didn't have any other option and he was near death he couldn't lose anything anyways, so he just replied to that voice.
"Are you ready to pay a price ?" The voice asked.
"Y. . Yes, n. . not my mother, cough cough." Ye-Jun was at his end, he couldn't talk in sentences anymore.
"What would you pay to survive?" The voice asked again.
"E. . Everything" Ye-Jun only gave him short answers.
"Astaroth! Enough. . I think he's the one I can feel something. . He's dying give it to him, we don't have that much time. " The other voice appeared.
"Yes."
"Astaroth(3), lead your lord to hell and beyond, I Satan(4), declare the human Sung Ye-Jun to be the next King of hell! You shall rule over hell, and the seven princes of hell will serve you and the world will fear you. Rule over all of hell, the elements, the hell creatures, and even destiny itself!"

(1): if you reach the 6th stage boss monster (halls) also appear.
(2) Hearthstones teleport you back to the set position as long as you are not in a fight
(3): Astaroth is known as one of the Seven prince's, he's one of the strongest devils, and lead 40 legions every legion has around 3000-6000 demons-devils, that means he rules over 120.000-240.000 demons-devils.
(4): Satan is the king of hell, and "Lucifuge" is one of the seven prince's of hell. Just wanted to say before anyone asks why Satan and not "Lucifer"
