The candlelight flickered from his table while he paced in front of it. It has been more than two weeks since he heard from the dwarf and beastman last. He feared that he had to call the mission as failure after two weeks of no update. He could've done that a day prior. However, he received a letter from Prince Arterius himself regarding the missing slave.
The prince has accused him of abducting his lead researcher, Servus-305-M. Of course, his godson wasn't far from wrong, but he was getting desperate. They needed to know how those Necromatons were weaponized. After all, it was the same forbidden technology that 305-M created and got him into a slave in the first place. If there was anyone in the Principalia that would be able to tell them about it, that would be him.
