MONDAY
The sun met her eyes as she stepped out of the car. She smiled and said goodbye to her driver. It was a new day, but nothing's new to her. Those eyes that were always admiring her suddenly felt uncomfortable.
She trailed the pavements, heading to the main building. She's going to submit her absence excuse for the next 3 days. She will get all the advanced lessons by email tomorrow.
"Charlotte, good morning," Mr Max, one of her subject teachers, saw her at the front door of the faculty.
The female bowed. "Good morning, Sir!"
Both of them entered the door, and they saw her homeroom adviser. She sat on the chair across from the female teacher's desk. "Good morning, Miss Raven." she greeted.
The woman smiled. "Good morning, dear. Are you here to submit your absence excuse letter?" She flipped the folder and looked for Charlotte's name on the attendance for the month.
