"Sean, wake up.."
"The stars are showing now. You're waiting for a shooting star, right?"
He raised his hand unconsciously after waking up from his slumber. The chilly wind gushed into him, rustling with the grasses beside his head.
Sean sat up and found himself in the same spot he was earlier. The chills finally made him shivered, and he hugged his arms. He was alone there. The people he used to watch on their picnics were now gone.
The man checked the time by raising his wrist. "9pm?" he whispered, rubbing his head. His swollen eyes squinted and the headache after crying hit his temples.
Sean groaned and slumped down again, facing the wide sky with twinkling diamonds. He once again closed his eyes and recalled the sweet voice that woke him. He stayed like that, forcing himself to sleep again.
