"Oh my god!!! Shaun, what happened to you?!!!"
The woman who greeted them in the door almost stumbled after seeing Shaun's face. She gently cupped her son's cheeks with tearing eyes. "What happened to you?" her shaking voice clearly delivered the worries.
She also faced Sean, who's looking down. "Sean, are you hurt too? Who did this to the both of you?" she finally teared up. Seeing her sons like this was enough to shatter her heart.
"Mom," Shaun held the woman's hand. "I'm fine..we are fine, please don't worry, okay?" he assured her. However, his reason wasn't enough. Being the friendly and righteous son of the family, it was no joke that Shaun had got into a fight.
From the living room, their father walked towards the entrance, and it made the two guys stiffen. Mister Barton's face wasn't angry or worried. It was full of questions. "Your school already called and told us what happened.."
