*GENJI'S POV
I walked slowly in order to stall for time. Chaoxing was very angry. Knowing his temperament, there was no telling what he would do to Jixia. Jixia was the current empress of Qi. There is no way Qi would jus sit still as we try to kill their empress. This was what bothered me.
"Is there a problem? Are you hurt?" Chaoxing asked probably wondering why I was working so slowly.
"My leg hurts. I hurt my leg while I was searching for you. Its okay. Let's go" I lied knowing that....
"No. You are injured. Its better we go tomorrow. I don't think I will be able to control myself if I go today" Chaoxing said.
"You are truly smart. I thought I was going to have to continue lying to you. You know I hate that right? Instead, let's go back to our room and have a cold bath together. Then we can lie down and rest. How does that sound?" I asked smiling.
"You are the one tempting me. Don't regret it later on." Chaoxing warned making me laugh.
