*GENJI'S POV
I watched as Chaoxing talked to Li Mu and I felt chills immediately. Although I had my own plan, never did I think that Chaoxing also had his own plan. Zhu Kan is brought out by the imperial guards and forced to kneel down. Even then Li Mu's face didn't change and Li Mu kept her cool.
"Princess Li Mu, do you know her?" Chaoxing asked.
"She is my personal handmaid. Has she done anything to offend you, Your Majesty?" Li Mu asked calmly.
"Yes. She has. She is guilty for killing the late emperor" Chaoxing said making everyone gasp in shock.
"Your Majesty, there must be a mistake. Zhu Kan has served me for years. There is no way she would have killed the late emperor." Li Mu said.
"Zhu Kan has already confessed. That you killed the late emperor. Isn't that right?" Chaoxing asked.
"Li Mu isn't the one who killed Wu Ling!" I hear someone say just as Zhu Kan is about to talk.
