Since I came, Chaoxing has nothing but be cruel to me. He even humiliated me in front of the entire court and said a lot of hurtful things to me. Still I didn't blame him. After all, I was the one who put myself in this trouble by admitting to a lie because I was angry.
While I am thinking of him, I realize that he has not eaten so I go to the kitchen to go and prepare some food for him. Getting to his palace, I see his door open and there are no guards or servants guarding the place so I become very suspicious. No. It can't be. Living the experience of what happened to Wu Ling was enough trauma for me.
My heart beats fast as I enter the room. My worries turn into anger when I enter the room and see Chaoxing hugging Jixia.
