*Genji's POV
The four of us being Wu Ling, Jixia, Chaoxing and I are standing at the door listening to what Danji and the Empress Dowager are saying. Seeing the look on Wu Ling's face, I can see he was hurt about the way his mother thinks. How do I make him understand how serious his heart condition was?
He doesn't know but I know. Because growing up, I lost my grandpa to a heart condition and I miss him so much. It will be very bad if Chaoxing lost his cousin to this heart disease.
But Danji was suspicious. I didn't trust her at all. I don't know what she's up to but I can just bet it isn't good. Well, knowing Chaoxing, I know he wouldn't fall for her antics. We had gone through a lot together in her hands.
"Well nothing. Forget it. Thank you Danji for coming to see me." I heard Wu Ling's mother say.
Suddenly we hear footsteps arriving near the door. Danji must be about to leave. Wu Ling signals to us to hide but I shake my head.
