*Chaoxing's POV
Waiting outside her room as the physician tells her the good news. As I expected, she is happy. As happy I was. I was going to be a father. Entering the room, I decide to play dumb. The physician leaves as soon as he sees me leaving me and Genji alone as I anxiously wait for her to tell me by herself.
I do my best not to laugh as she walks to and fro across the room. She looks so nervous. Turning back to look at me, I keep my face normal.
"What's wrong with you? What did the imperial physician say?" I asked
"He said.... He said I.... He said I am pregnant" Genji said anxiously waiting for my reaction.
"You are? Are you sure?" I asked pretending to frown.
"Yes. What? Are you not happy?" She asked walking to me.
I wait until she is within my reach before I reach out to drag her near me causing her to gasp.
"Of course I am. I am so happy" I said lifting her up and turning around.
