*Ying Dou's POV
I had been keeping tabs on my beloved wife since she had not returned. I know that Chaoxing and Genji both want to stop a second war from arising but I wasn't going to let that happen. Chu state had just lost their emperor and their state was weak. Now would be a perfect time to finally finish them off.
Xuilan comes in wanting to report something to me. Whatever it was, I knew it wasn't going to be good.
"The empress has gone back to Chu" Xuilan said making me stand up.
"What? Ji'An went back to Chu?" I asked
"Yes. I heard a decree had been issued. Her highness returned back with the emperor of Southern Han." Xuilan said
"What? A decree was issued?" I asked.
I had heard that Genji was trying to get the young emperor to issue a decree. Has she succeeded? That woman was truly a Phoenix. Just when you think there is no way she would rise up, she always finds a way.
"I have to go to Chu." I saidÂ
