Those stupid officials of mine! They haven't even been able to accomplish the little task I sent them to do. The attack on Han state didn't go as I planned. We suffered great losses in the last war. Now, my dear bastard of a sister was the empress of Han state. I can't wait to destroy those other two kingdoms. I have been bidding my time. Waiting patiently for the next time when we will be able to strike and win the war once and for all.
I had left the kingdom in the hands of my prime minister to be the regent. Chu Wencheng was my cousin and almost the same age as me but he was a serious nag. He always claimed he cared for the people. I know that if I wasn't the legitimate child of the first house, Chu Wencheng would have been emperor and not me.
