*Danji's POV
It was a good thing I was smart. Luckily for me, I had spotted Chaoxing just in time when I was talking to Genji. Therefore I had to say all those things. Leaving Chaoxing for Genji? In her dreams! There is no way I was going to give Chaoxing up. I had to come up with a solid plan to deal with Genji. I had also heard the Empress Dowager and Honghui talking. She finally confessed that she never liked Li Juan. Honghui was a filial son. He would never disobey his mother. He was also not ready to let go of the late Li Juan. Luckily for him, she was not alive. If the Empress Dowager wanted to deal with Li Juan, she would be dealing with Genji instead. And I could use this to my favour.
I immediately go to visit the Empress Dowager. I already know her character. She would hate anyone that got in between the husband and the legal wife because of her experience. And I could use her to deal with Genji.
