These days I spent all my time with Chaoxing. I was trying to be a good wife and a good daughter in law. Although it wasn't easy, I had also spent my time over seeing all the Huang family affairs.
Chaoxing and I were also spending time together. Suyin seemed like the happiest of them all.
"My lady, I'm happy that you and the duke are finally happy. You have finally come to your senses." Suyin said.
"Who knows what the duke is up to now? Everyone knows he is dubious and cunning." Ruomei said.
"You guys! Stop arguing. Sometimes I think you are the ones that are choosing everything for me. And I have decided to continue on with my life. I have to face reality. I am married to Chaoxing now." I said.
"Hmmmh, I really don't like the duke. The whole court fears him because he is an evil man." Ruomei said.
