Its been days since I visited Genji at the duke's manor. I know she must be angry with me. I told her that she wasn't strong enough to stand by my side. I did it in the heat of the moment because I was jealous. Maybe it was because I didn't want her to fall in love with Chaoxing. Whether or not she wasn't Li Juan, she was still in her body.
But sooner or later, I was going to have to accept that she wasn't Li Juan.
I head to my study to review the reports of the ministers. When I arrive, I see General Nan waiting for me.
"Greetings your majesty" he said.
"General Nan, what brings you here?" I asked.
"Your majesty, I came here to give you my report. We have been keeping an eye on Chu State as you ordered. Things there seem to have quieted down a bit. Fengwu all of a sudden isn't managing court affairs. He has appointed his uncle to act as regent." He said.
"Is he sick?" I asked.
