*Lijuan's POV
It had been a week since Chaoxing left to Sichuan. I was already getting worried about him. I could see that even Mother was worried about him but none of us talked about it. It had also been a while since I left the manor so I decide to take a walk. I change into something simple and wear a cloak since I don't want people to recognise me.
According to the rules, after a year, Chaoxing and I are supposed to go back home. I really missed the general's manor. I wonder how Liwei would look now. It had only been nine months since I married into the duke's manor.
After I arrive at the restaurant, I head upstairs to sit in a quiet place. The view of the market looks beautiful. I remove my hood and pour myself water
"My lady, do you want anything?" The shop owner asked.
"Nothing in particular. Just give me soup." I said
