*CHAOXING'S POV
While I stand watching the ladies leave, Genji beats me.
"Ouch! What's the problem?" I asked rubbing my shoulder.
"You just came to embarrass me, right? Why would you do something like that in front of all those ladies? I was trying to be the tough cold empress" Genji said frowning as she stomped my leg on the ground.
"I don't want you to be a cold empress. Okay, let's go now." I said dragging her hand.
Actually, I had been on the bridge near my palace the day Genji planned the surprise banquet. I had stayed watching as the maids went up and down the road planning everything. I knew it was for me. I was just not in the right frame of mind that day so I hid. After watching everything, I didn't know when I fell asleep.
