When the people of Lotus Sect and Black Tortoise Sect heard Feng Yun's words, all of them looked at him with hostility, especially the Black Tortoise Sect's people. They were the ones who were going to take the vermilion bird, the lotus sect was only here to assist.
Zi Ling looked at Feng Yun and asked curiously, "Feng Yun, do you want to catch this vermilion bird as well?"
"No, you are misunderstanding. I didn't come here to catch it." Feng Yun shook his head and said.
"Then why?"
"This vermilion bird is an acquaintance of my close friend. I am helping this vermilion bird for shake of my friend. I can't let it catch by human in front of my eyes. Please do me this small favor this time." Feng Yun said in sincere tone.
Feng Yun obviously didn't want to make things difficult for Zi Ling. But there was no other option. He can't let the Vermilion Bird to be captured by Xuan Shuai.
