The diner was packed with people. We had to wait for a few minutes to get a table. One section of the diner was a bar, while the other was lined with tables. The flooring was wooden laminated and the walls were a matching shade of brown lined with several frames. A pleasant fragrance filled the ambience of the diner. A waitress walked over to our table. She wore a knee length pencil skirt and a red blouse. An apron was secured around her waist and she had a small writing pad and a pen in her hand. Her black hairs were left open, reaching her waist. We gave our orders and she told us to wait for a few minutes while our food gets ready.
The dinner went mostly in silence. The place was crowded and none of us actually wanted to eat after watching that nausea-triggering movie. The gore and the disgust were still fresh in our memories. Somehow we finished our dinner without puking it midway. When we were finished, we paid our separate bills and made our way to the exit.
