A dull throbbing accompanied by an ache in my head made me aware that I was finally transitioning from my sleep. I could tell wherever I was it was still dark there. I didn't wish to wake up just yet, so I turned to the other side, my eyes still shut.
The feeling of the bed sheets and mattress was extremely soft, smooth and comfortably cool against my skin. I roamed my hands around to feel the silky fabric against my hands and that is when I realized I was not in my bed because this feeling was foreign and undeniably and incredibly comfortable.
