Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: A Little Training

"This is... Amazing!" I said as I ate the ramen in front of me.

We had decided to eat outside since Osiric wanted to go to a restaurant. I asked a stranger about where the best place to eat something is, he had pointed us towards this shop.

The shop, like the city, had an Asian aesthetic - which wasn't surprising. We entered inside, I quickly saw the menu to find out that every dish on the list was Asain.

Osiric - who doesn't know the culture - wanted to eat the ramen. Emma and I agreed since we wanted to eat anything.

Especially considering how delicious monster meat was, if I was to say what was the best about last week - except getting stronger - its probably food.

The ingredients in this world are high-quality, even elementary class monsters taste better than anything back home. I think they even taste better than high-quality foods - though I haven't tried them.

The food also was cheap - but it could get crazy expensive. A normal commener - who earns about 100 silver or 1 gold - can easily live a fulfilling life, not worrying about anything.

He can easily buy food that would make 5 stars restaurant's food back home look like a home-cooked meal made by a normal kid.

But the food here was way better than anything we had eaten till now - I mean it was crazy expensive, for us, considering it cost about 60 silver per serving.

"You're right, this noodle is crazy good." Emma replied as she started eating massive bites out of the ramen.

"It's probably the best thing I have eaten in my life." Osiric said as he looked satisfied, unlike Emma, somehow, he didn't chow down on his food.

I got a little curious, so I asked the waiter about the ingredients.

"What ingredients do you use?" I asked him.

"About that," waiter starting thinking, "we use vegetables made by High F-rank farmers and meat from intermediate monsters. The ingredients are also all fresh..."

The waiter went on a long rant about how fresh their ingredients are, but what I was interested the most about was, this was just an intermediate class meal. There are food 3 classes higher than it, with the last two class's difference being massive.

So there was still food, literally, 1,000,000x better than this. Emma and Osiric looked shocked, I mean how wouldn't you. If you just ate the thing that would make normal people back home crazy and then realize it wasn't close being the most delicious, obviously you would look shocked.

We then quickly finished the meal then got out of the restaurant, Osiric thanked the chef as well. We also joined him and thanked the chef for the meal.

Because of that the chef laughed and said, "You're welcome."

We said bye to the chef and left the restaurant, since we didn't have anything to do. I quickly looked at my card.

I saw my rank, my status, name, location, which branch I was in, and my photo. I quickly looked at the tabs at the side of the card and clicked on the shopping cart.

Osiric had said that we should probably buy normal weapons later, since there isn't any adventurer's guild nearby - because of the lack of monster and treasure, since the country itself sends its military for that - we had to wait about a day or two to get our package.

It would have been faster if we had ranked up before we came here since the guild would've used a wind horse instead of a normal one.

But I didn't mind it, because due to it Osiric would teach us how to use mana weapons faster. Osiric was also didn't the use of mana weapons since he was confident that he would still kick our ass even if we went to fight him with our magic, unless we were about 100m away from him.

Which was true, his swordsmanship is way above a normal human. A level 6 skill would take a person, who isn't like Osiric and has huge amounts of talent and is blessed by gods, about 3-4 years to learn it with a class.

His magic skill is also very high, with his pure magic - the strongest self-buffing magic - being level 5. The catch is that he doesn't have a lot of utility. He only has enhancing skills like, mental enhancement, physical enhancement, haste blade, and sword enchant. He also has endurance, but due to it not being related to swords or pure magic its only level 2.

He also can't learn, or takes incredible amounts of time, to learn any skill not related to swords or pure magic. It does not make that much of a difference at lower ranks or classes, but at higher ranks, it can make a lot of difference in the future. But thankfully it's all utility so he doesn't worry about it that much as he has us supporting him.

We talked with each other for the whole way, we reached the hot spring. Osiric told us to quickly go into our room and come out to the yard.

We agree with him and walked with him to the yard.

...

"C'mon." I said as I stabbed Osiric. The stab pushed air out furiously and even made a shockwave due to its speed.

Osiric was standing with a stick, he was also blindfolded and his ears were blocked. I with my elemental mana spear, stabbed at him.

We had been doing this for about 1 hours straight, in that time I had gained two skills: 'Spearmanship: Lv.1' and 'Elemental Spear: Lv.2'.

The latter leveled up due to my class and title skills. If I fought with my past self, 1 hours before, I was confident that I would win against him easily.

Mana weapon and the spearmanship skill really helped me understand mana and boosted my instincts. With my new understanding and senses I was confident I could now put up a little fight against Osiric when he is severely disadvantaged.

But no, Osiric dodged everything I threw at him, he even caught Emma's arrow mid-flight and threw them at me.

He had broken 2-3 bones of mine. It didn't even hurt, I didn't even feel a thing; but I did feel the effects of breaking your bones. So he had Emma heal me.

This time's attack was the best I could do now, I put everything into it. I was a little confident that it would at least scratch him. I mean this attack was moving at the speed of sound and Osiric wasn't allowed to use any mana.

I saw Osiric become a little surprised, 'Yes!' I thought to myself. Even Emma looked satisfied. But that was quickly nullified when Osiric blocked the attack with fingers by pinching at the tip of the spear.

He then, before I could even react, moved in such a manner that just looking at it gave me chills. But if I was the spectator I would probably say that it looked beautiful and refined beyond human limits. And with a single punch, without breaking any of my bones, I was punched 10m up in the sky.

Emma was a little shocked to find me 10m up in the sky in an instant, combined with the fact that she had thought that my attack would land. Then when I was almost about to pass out, Osiric punched Emma in the stomach, knocking her out as well.

This entire attack took him 5 seconds to do, I was once again was made to remember than Osiric's might; I and Emma tended to forget about it since we got so well.

It made us look at Osiric normally, completely ignoring the fact that he had once fought against an entire orc village at once, making sure not even a single one of them would attack us while he didn't have a single ounce of mana left in his body.
