As I waited in the reception room to hear updates about Cindy's situation, a nurse walked up to me.
"Were you the one that was admitted here for drug overdose the last time?" She asked.
"No," I simply denied the accusation.
She was still staring at me skeptically from the counter when another nurse walked in. I caught her with my side eye, whispering to this other nurse. The second nurse nodded frantically and pointed at me. I saw the two of them rush out of the reception room.
They were not my concern at the moment, it has been thirty minutes since I brought her in unconscious. I was waiting for the doctors to tell me that at least she was stable but still unconscious. Then, I would know she was safe with Olivia.
Suddenly, the doctor in charge walked out of her room. I quickly stood up and made my way to him.
