Lily felt like a little girl once again. It was like her 10th year Birthday all over again. She was happy and felt free. Mia kept giving her some kind of look, although Lily had made up her mind to completely ignore her. She saw the awkwardness between Laila and Tariq too. Saddam was being his normal self but Tariq was trying to start a conversation with him in order not to look too idle.
Daisy was the assigned MC of the event so she said, "Lily is going to cut the cake after the spelling of her name, so let's go...,"
The crowd joined her to spell L..I.. L..Y and then Lily cut the cake.
The cake was shared among all of them. They all went back to their seats to place orders for whatever they'd like to eat. Milo was said to have paid for everything so they had nothing to worry.
