"Uhmmm" I didn't know how to answer Cindy's question so I remained quiet. But thankfully Daisy is here and always had answers to everything, so I turned to look at her asking for help.
"No Cindy, the truth is, I had a nightmare and was just telling Lily about it." she lied.
"It's a one time thing, I don't usually have nightmares. And it wasn't really that bad, I mean, you could call it a disturbing dream. I don't think it's qualified to be called a nightmare" Daisy was rambling now and I just wish she'll shut up
I looked up to find Cindy looking straight at me. She obviously didn't believe Daisy. Just how much did she hear?
"You know one of those dreams where you are chasing after a chicken and then...." it's time I cut her off.
"Daisy, she gets it" I said and she kept quiet.
"Okay, Daisy. The thing is I have weird dreams too. In fact, that's part of why I'm back home. I was told about some woman that interprets dream" she said while twiddling with her fingers.
Okay, that's a new info. She has weird dreams too? Could this all be a coincidence? Wait, if she has nightmares, does it mean she also sees me in her nightmares? Could Milo be having the same nightmares too? I needed answers to all these questions.
Daisy was also staring at her dumbfounded. She turned to look at me and we exchanged a look.
I noticed Cindy was still standing where she stood when she first entered and was starting to get uncomfortable.
"I think you should have a sit if you'd like to talk about it." She sat in the only remaining stool.
We were now sitting around the table in the kitchen.
"So, what kind of nightmares do you have" I asked very curious at this point but trying to sound as calm as possible.
"I'm sorry I don't really like talking about it. But I'll be visiting the woman I told you about next weekend. You can come along if you'd like to Daisy, but since you said it isn't that serious I can go alone" she said looking at me instead of Daisy.
This is getting so weird.
Should I just come clean and tell her everything?
Maybe she could decide to confide in me too. Maybe not.
What if she was just trying to get information from me and wasn't really having any nightmares?
What if she was just pulling my legs? It doesn't look like that's what she was doing though. She looked very serious.
What if after I confess she just laughs at me thinking it's all a joke?
"I'll go with you. In fact, Lily will come along. You need all the support there is. Lily and I will always be there for you. I'll try to see what I can do about my classes for next week" Daisy said when she noticed Cindy and I were staring at each other without even blinking.
What is wrong with Daisy? Was she really suggesting we do this after telling her about my nightmares? Now Cindy says she has nightmares too, isn't that making the whole thing creepier?
"I'll be glad if you girls could come along, really" Cindy said with a small smile not taking her eyes away from me.

"Hey Ziko, can we talk?" I said to Ziko when he walked past me on the hallway of the office on Monday morning.
I am tired of playing this game with him. We needed to sort things out as adults.
"Sure, lunch break?" he asked while cocking up one of his eyebrows. Goodness, he looks handsome in his dark blue button down shirt and black pants.
I didn't think he was going to agree to have a talk with me. Yet, he accepted without even giving it a second thought. I guess he was also tired of all the drama.
I just nodded and we headed our separate ways.
I took a sit on my chair, getting ready to sort some files that needs to be sent to Milo. I could send it through email, but he requested I did it personally and in person. Yes, he's that weird.
"Hey Lily, how was Daisy's trip back home?" Mia enquired and I looked up at her to see her standing in front of my desk with her hands resting against it.
We left Cindy's house on Saturday afternoon after having lunch with her parents. We said our goodbyes and promised to all meet again the following weekend.
Mia called to tell me she was back in town with the HR manager that afternoon but wouldn't be able to meet with Daisy and I until Sunday morning.
So, Daisy and I went back to my apartment. We continued the gist we weren't able to finish at Cindy's place. I told her everything about Milo at work. She laughed really hard when I told her about the office trip, this time not leaving out any detail. She couldn't stop laughing when I told her about how everything was happening in opposites. She even joked about how she'd call me little Missy henceforth. That girl was crazy.
When we went to bed that Saturday, it was peaceful and I didn't have a single dream, not a good or bad dream, everything was just blank and I was thankful for having a peaceful night at last after so many weeks. Maybe it was because Daisy was here.
Mia met with us in a nearby amusement park. Going on one rides after the other. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. I forgot about my nightmares for a while, I forgot about Ziko, Milo and every other thing that could stress me. All three of us spent our Sunday in a park until 5:00pm when it was time for Daisy to drive back home, since it was a 5hours journey.
"She got home safely, Mia" I replied with a smile and she just smiled back and went back into the HR manager's office.
I stood up and went into Milo's office. I greeted him and he just answered with a nod. I submitted the files and went out of his office. He didn't say a word to me!
Why did he request I bring the files personally in the first place if he wasn't even going to talk to me?
