Coach Henri ignored the expressions of his team members who still looked shocked. The man turned and gave Gabby a meaningful smile.
"Gabby, come to the front," Coach Henri ordered.
"Yes, sir." Gabby answered.
Walking to the very front of the line, Gabby rolled her sleeves. Even though her shirt was small in size, the girl still looked drowned in it.
"You..." a whisper came from behind Gabby.
"Why?" Gabby asked, turning her head.
"Are you really on our karate team?" A girl with shoulder-length hair asked.
"Yes, of course," Gabby replied confidently.
"Stop talking and run around the school ten laps!" Coach Henri instructed.
"Ten rounds..." The boy standing next to Gabby muttered.
"Man…. Just kill me now," he continued.
