Deep in Farevie's keep far below the throne room lies a large room. Nearly akin to a chamber of secrets, a place of archived books and artifacts. In the midst of it all a single man sitting quietly at a table, a candle flame lighting the pages he exams.
Here the silence is deafening, a scholar prefered study. Yet he heard distant footsteps. The echo grew lighter until he could hear its source.
It is rare to see anyone visit him.
"Your going to fond yourself as pale as a ghost Benji, you need to touch some grass at least at some point in this month."
Ah, it may be rare ro be visited, but it is not rare to whom is the one visiting. He is the only one visiting.. Ever.
"I tend to reas long into the night my lord. There is little i need to leave for. Your safe, and i am surrounded by work of my own and others. Id say this is a win win."
The lord of Farevie, a petite man. He looks akin to a teenager, but that couldnt be any further from the truth. Just a small man who seems more bone than flesh. Though small doesnt mean he doesnt have the attitude to back up his title.
"Was, i was safe."
Benji looked up with a half natrowed hald curious brow.
"We are facing several enemy armies across the forest and rolling hills. Garlen is lost and the checkpoonts had to be doubled, even quadtripled down on in terms of troop, and even mercenaries. Not to mention two spell blades were lost.."
Benji listened calmly, but his mind was in turmoil who is attacking them? Why? Do they know of Farevie's strengths, its achievements?
"What is the bann-"
"Nothing of this world. We suspsect the dead and worse of all of them are alive. Sentient..
Benji grimaced.. He knew what was coming.
"I need you to investigate, your just looking.."
"Hmm? What about the church?"
"They just arrived and are resting. They plan to move within a day or two. We need to show them we mean business.."
Benji tsked. "Fine i will just take a look.."
Maybe it was time to stretch his legs..

Jelu has done what Ghiel has, however he used archers first then soldiers. Only getting involved when needed. However the travel has all but ceased on this side. An unease rise in his cold heart. But he paid it no mind, merely notting that their job here is almost done.
That is until he felt eyes on him someone was watching him.. But how..
Jelu glanced into the canopy and at the cliffs. Spotting nothing at first. But a detailed glance gave him a location. A figure draped in silver armor with white clothing stood at the edge of a cliff looking down with glowing blue eyes.
The longer Jelu Looked. The greater the unease he felt!
Until he could physically see a feirce arua fade in around the figure. Their hair flowed in the wind. Short and blonde.
Jelu began to sound the alarm, but that was futile. The figure dropped off the cliff. Jelu had seen this cliff it was very far away. Yet his breath caught.
He turned his hand waving!
"Fa-"
Not a chance, not one moment, not one sentence managed, not even a word.
The forest lit up in a cascade of blue light!
¡¡¡¡THU'UM!!!!
The atomspheres bass dropped, its colume inhaled, its earth rumbled, skies churned, first came the silence.
Then the BOOM, before a shockwave slammed into him!
Jelu saw in vain frame by frame, a figure. Their icy boue eyes burning hot with mana, their arua surrounded them, from cliff to his front doorstep!
The figure was glowing with so much light it could have been passed off as the very sun!
¡¡¡BOOOOOM!!!
Jelu felt the air crack in his wake! He heard the whistle, felt his bones pulverize under the sheer blast of the figure. Punched in the chest with immeasurable strength!
CRACK!
THU'UM!
RUMBLLLEEE!
BOOOM!
The forest upturned!
Hundreds of the dead vaporized in a blue light! Their knight was thrown across the forest against hills, trees and entrenched into the ground easily over a dozen miles away!
The dead stood zero chance, each strike uprooted city blocks! Cratered the forest floor and vaporized them!
Benji reeled back, standing at the forefront of a new garden, though ripped apart. Had plenty of bone meal. In his hand a skull remained with a wisp of flame left.
"Don't barge in where you don't belong!"
Crack!
He clenched his fist. Shattering the skull.
He rolled his shoulders in satisfaction. "That should get the lord off my back for at least a few weeks!"
The attack was akin to lightning. It came, it destroyed and it left. Benji used raw mana and some strength. They didn't deserve his carefully crafted spell repertoire. With things taken care of he turned away and begun his trek back to the fortress city. Pausing as he signed.
"Just in.. Case"
[Chain Lightning Strike]
The skies rumbled in gathering clouds as a powerful spell formed! Lightning crackled above dangerously as Benji took a few more steps and disappeared into blue sparks!
Right after hundreds of lightning strikes came raining down, blasting the soil into charcoal and killing any survivors that managed to escape his first onslaught!
Not so far away in a churned up grave, a hand burst out of the dirt. Jelu was alive, but his rib cage and below was thoroughly destroyed. Only thing keeping him alive was the ire of the lich king, a flame borne inside them that refused to die. As long as he watched his mana intake he would live..

Whilst one legion was wiped, another not that far off felt the horrors of the 'fight' Xerl worried for his brothers, but steeled himself. They must remain reliable. That said his side has experienced little in the way of traveling caravans. Only encountering small outpost of bandits instead of city forces and its people. A disappointing realization. Especially when Xerl finds out in the near future of the glories and pains had in the other legions.
To compensate for the lack of, action. He had maneuvered his troop into large squads that roamed the lands. Adding a new and terrible flair to bandit life. The age old saying "Skulls for the skull throne" really took up meaning here when humans woke to carnage.
Xerl expressed his bore ess when finishing off another large outpost. He felt the grind to his peak was slow, but the effort would be worth the trouble.. He wondered how Adilen was holding up.
