Rules for the system
It gains about 1/10th of the best stat and puts it into free points while using devourer to acquire their most helpful ability.
For example, if someone has a strength of 10, it would only gain 1 accessible stat point.
The system can level up upon reaching certain milestones like escaping the facility.
The host can develop and level up its abilities once it understands how it works and replicates it. The system will act like an extra catalyst doubling the results depending on the level.
Example level 1 1 tendril
Level 2 2 tendrils
Level 3 4 tendrils
Level 4 8 tendrils
For innate skills, only
For passive skills, it will start as a 5% increase. Then, each level-up decrease has diminishing returns before the skill evolves.
For example
Level 1 surpasses limits to get a 5% increase in stats
Level 2 gets 8%
Level 3 10%
Level 4 11%
Level 5 12%
For active skills, it will always increase by 5%
Stats
Strength 1 point = 1 pound of force
Speed 1 point = 1 meter per second
Agility 1 point = divides weight by the number of points it has on it ex 238/30 = 7.9333 rounded up to 8
Anything within an 8-meter radius with diminishing sounds can be heard, and reaction speed.
Intelligence 1 point = increases processing speed by 1 second
Energy = fuel to keep the tank going. Ex level 1 skill uses one energy. Moving around with tendrils uses one energy a minute times the number of tendrils can be upgraded through evolution and obtained through eating or using electric ports (god doesn't know this yet)
Biomass = when evolving, opens a shop menu allowing for the allocation of points to gain new organs and abilities.
Evolutionary energy- is used to unlock new upgrades within the system and can be gained by eating certain organisms.
It takes regular 10 energy, one evolutionary energy depending on the evolutionary level.
Every time it evolves, increase energy requirements for evolution by multiplying it by 10
Primal (I) 10 energy = 1 evolutionary energy
Primal (II) 100 energy = 1 evolutionary energy
Primal (III) 1,000 energy = 1 evolutionary energy
Unlock things like new stats
Gain things like free stats
Innate skills are permanent and can only be upgraded and gained through certain conditions.
System-level up unlocks new features, and upgrades only increase pre-existing elements. For example, it can unlock new stats such as recovery or creativity.
