"What are you doing here, Alardis?"
Her voice trembled an accusing tone, her eyes glaring up at the tall, indifferent vampire.
He was standing on one of the open windows of the greenhouse, a little above Prince Alphonse, his coat's white cape flying sideways against the outside's wind. And her heart gave a loud thump, a part of her yearning to confront him. A part of her wanting to save the prince from Alardis' gaze.
But she did not move after seeing him look from her to Mitchel, sniffing the air in the area.
She then realized that he was not alone. Behind him was a group of vampires, undeads, that she had not seen before. In from was the lady undead who Valerie had released not too long ago.
"Alardis!" Evelina growled.
An evil smile was playing on his lips. "You act as if I have not promised to keep an eye on you."
