Evelina did not get to continue when Nelle entered the room, holding a tray in her hands. On it was the most familiar sewed pouch, a bowl of soup that was giving off a strong smell of cabbage, and two glasses of water.
"Believe it or not Nelle, pillows can fall too."
"Of course! But why is it that your bed wasn't in its actual place, your blanket is rolled up like that, and you're at the edge of your bed. How wild are you?"
She sat on the bed beside Evelina's, placing the tray on her lap.
"Quite particular with details, are you not?" said the vampiress. Nelle only shrugged, untying the weed that secured the pouch. Evelina swallowed. "Are you going to throw me another powder? I do think that I have had enough sleep."
