"Riza The castle is on fire!" Eric, the king of the wolf kingdom shouted as he placed his burnt hands on his thighs, panting.
The king and queen got separated as they tried to escape the ignited flames.
"Eric! I'm stuck here! The door's locked" the queen squeaked in reply. Looking around in her chamber, she tried to find something that might help her and her child get out of the burning chamber.
"Riza get out of here- AH!" Eric screamed as a huge pillar fell on him immediately taking his life.
"Eric! no!" the queen shouted and pounded her fists on the window finally breaking the glass. She picked up her snoring child with her bloody hands and used a dagger to climb down the tall pillars.
Suddenly for no apparent reason, the child started crying thrashing her arms and legs everywhere.
The queen quickly scanned her baby's body for any wounds, fortunately there were none. Her gaze fell on a forming blue scar on her child's wrist.
"Oh no! not this!" she shrieked and placed two of her stinging fingers on the scar. After chanting a spell, the mark started disappearing.
Riza limped her way to her sister's house, leaving a trail of blood dripping from her flesh wounds.
"Reina" she said waiting for some reply, but there was none.
"Reina!" she called out a little louder this time the front door creaked open.
"Riza?" a young woman in her early 20's groggily rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes.
"Yeah Reina it is me, I need a favor to ask you" the queen said holding her child in front of her sister.
"I need you to take care of Hae-Ran for me, the sphinx kingdom has set our castle on fire, Eric died and I need to save whoever is left in there" the queen tried to explain it in the shortest way possible.
"But Riz-"
"No Reina, this is really important, there are people there and I need to save them" she urged her sister to hold the baby.
"I have applied the seal on her, she inherited the key for opening 'it'." the queen said worriedly eyeing her child.
"Ok, I understand I'll take care of her" she said and gently took the child from the bleeding queen.
The queen kissed her daughter's forehead, planting her blessing on her and hugged her sister for the last time before staggering back to her nearly burnt home.
