One of the first clear memories Lee had was when he was three years old, he and his twin sister Mia played outside of their house in Litta a small and quiet town. Litta was a beautiful place, it laid east to the majestic coast of May Vene and west to the wild and magical forest of Lacrem. While Mia and Lee were playing he somehow made Mia cry he couldn't remember what he done that lead to her crying. Did he broke her doll? perhaps he mistakenly hit her? anyway he was too young to remember what he did precisely but he couldn't forget what came afterwards as from that day his life slowly became miserable.
Mia was enraged she got into one of her tantrums, she was angry and wanted pay back. Mia tried to push him, but when she got close enough to him he could see her eyes slowly change its color with each tear that fell. Each tear drained a part of her brown eyes until her eyes looked like those of a blind person.
Her tiny hands were aiming right below his chest at the upper part of his abdomen. when she almost hit him he felt a ghast of wind and then it hit him. The push had a force of a grown up but he could feel that every part of his body was hit simuntaniously instead in his abdomen, the push made him slide close to a meter and a half before he fell on his butt and started crying loudly. The force from the push was spread across his body he didn't feel much pain from the push only a little from hitting the ground. Lee wasn't crying from the pain but from the shock.
"Mom mom" the Lee was yelling while Mia was recovering from her tears their faces was covered snot and tears. Sue ran toward them she thought maybe they got injured. Although she could swear she didn't even leave the kids for more than three or four minutes to check on the soup that was cooking on the stove but those little runts had enough time to get in trouble. She thought it was serious this time, Usually they didn't cry so histerically.
Sue looked at them with her green warm eyes and asked
"What did you both do I was only gone for a few minutes"
Then she first picked up Lee as he was still crying and then Mia one baby at each of her arms.
"It's his fault mom he started it" Mia said while wiping up the snot from her face. Lee was still weeping and required Sue to sooth and calm him down.
"It's okay baby boy mom is here there is no need to cry" after a minute or so he replyed between breating and sniffles
"She did her eyes turned blind *sniff sniff* just like old man Zhang from the neighborhood and *sniff sniff* and then she pushed me away"
"Mia show me your eyes" with a hint of seriousness and joy in her tone Sue then looked carefully at Mia's eyes and could still see she was still lacking a part of her brown color to her eyes. It was like her heart has missed a beat but then she muttering with her eyes brimming with happiness.
"finally a kid with my attribute, it what I had wished for since Adam got Tristan attribution"
it also meant she wouldn't need to take care of the twins as much as she usually did. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy her time with the twins but after a while, it became exhausting. It was almost a year since Adam awakened his magic, he inherited it from his father the affinity to water. Taking care of both Mia and Lee without assistance from her husband and firstborn is hard, to endure two kids who got into a fight with each other every other hour. Now Adam or Tristan would need to take care of Lee while she helps Mia control her magic and train her. It wasn't too hard keeping watch of Lee he wasn't a loud kid when he wasn't around Mia the same was for Mia when she was alone.
Usually, they would get punished for hitting each other but since Sue was so excited she only said
"Siblings arent allowed hit one another especially twins. Mia now that you have awakened your wind magic you need to be careful with what you do, but don't worry now that you hane an affinity with wind you will be just like your mother".
Sue was afraid that none of the children inherit her wind magic, it seemed that the kids got most of Tristan genes as they were tan, same eye color as him and same bodytype the only silver lining she had was just some small resemblement in their appearence it was unique for each kid. Adam got her slightly crooked nose, Mia got the wavy and natural hair, Lee got her welcoming smile and teeth.
Magic was usually inherited from your parents or grandparents' am attribute to a specific magic type. All people have some affinity to a specific kind of magic type, but most people have such little affinity with magic that they could barely use magic.
In blessed events such a family with poor magic affinity give birth to a genius mage in contradiction to the Blessed there were the so-called cursed were the exact opposite, a family of geniuses and prodigies giving birth to an untalented child with barely any magic attributions.
Sue got back into the house she needed to check up with he soup, it was an orange soup made of mainly sweet potato and pumpkin. She knew it's one of Tristan favorite dishes but it was also good for the younglings. Tristan and Adam came home about an hour and a half later, after finishing a session of magic fishing, it was one of the main hobbies here at Litta town as it wasn't far from coast, it is only a 40 minutes walk. Today's catch was three big fat seabasses and an average sized zybra fish. When Tristan arrived home he could see Sue excitedly rush toward him telling him the great news, Tristan who wanted to sell two of the fat fish for some extra cash, said with excitment "we will hold a feast as a celebration, tell the neighbors we are holding it tommorow and write a letter to your grandparents"
after saying this he suddenly went quiet thinking about the event when finally said
"Usually even a prodigy that was blessed are aweaken at the age of 5, doesn't it mean our little girl is extremly blessed? a prodigy amongst prodigies?"
he was still pondering about, he wasn't sure that awakening this early is natural as the average kids awaken at the age of 7.
"Now all we need is that our little boy will awaken so he could help out with work and chores"
