"And that is a legend of how one ordinary man became the most powerful heavenly soilder for the diety."
Sighs an old man as he closed a book with a face of nostalgia and tiny bit of regret...
surrounding the oldman are little boys and girls who are listening to this fairytale with eyes full of curiosity some show mild annoyance some simply dozing off.
one such boy who was around 5 years old couldn't hold it and spoke up in a crisp voice " grandpa you keep telling us this story a lot, but you never tell us who this man is.. you make up different names each time!"
another little girl with big bright eyes also chimed in
"that's right! grandpa tell us or you can just tell me by whispering okay? i'll even pinky promise not to tell anyone" the little girl also around 5 years old says so. but secretly crosses her fingers behind her back and a smirk that she could barely manage to hold in emerges on her face as if she has already succeeded.
the grandpa who was telling this story obviously saw this but still pretended not to see anything. He dotingly looked at his grandchildren and said"little Xiang ,little qing'er grandpa would tell you if he could but he has long forgotten" the grandpa shows an apologetic face as he says so. but he still couldn't help reach out to pat those two kids on their heads lovingly.
the girl qing'er pouted cutely in protest "grandpa i'm a big girl now you can't pet my head like that my puffs along with my ladylike image will be ruined if you do this all the time"
the grandpa didn't mind being lectured instead laughed " haha little qing'er is already a grownup woman? then next time grandpa will pay attention"
as he spoke he kept pating her head ruining her hairstyle even more
qing'er "..."
after the story telling the kids went to play on their own....the old grandpa like a fragile oldman kept this book in a box as if a great treasure. he then locked the door and sat in a rocking chair looking at the moon muttering to himself with nostalgia " grandpa tells you this story so that you do not make the mistake i did. afterall ,names of deities cannot be spoken in vain"
he then stood up however his demeanor changed completely he his lifeless eyes that gave a feeling that he would die anytime became as sharp as a sword he closed the window that faced the moon and took of his robe revealing his upper body.
what was surprising was that there were no wrinkes on his body only a mark on his chest,
he got this mark from that diety as a reward for his loyalty however this reward later became his biggest night mare.
