Thomas soul shifted into a 6ft long ball python in Jareth's hand and wrapped around his right arm. " I finally mastered my first Reptile form." Jareth heard Thomas's voice in his head. Jareth tried to freak out but in his mind he knew it was fine and safe as Goliath's memories told him of their bond and Thomas's soul shifting practices.
"You seem a little off today brother Goliath. Are you ok?" again Jareth heard thomas in his head.
Jareth noticed that again Thomas had called him Goliath. Could he not see Jareth was clearly not Goliath?
"I am fine Thomas." Jareth said these words aloud. "You had an amazing flight Today! Y shaved your time down by about 30 seconds. You made it in 29 minutes and 52 seconds." Thomas said
Jareth figured that to mean he flew it at about 10 miles per hour.
Jareth had begun walking into the valley about 5 minutes before he realized that he was walking. After walking for nearly an hour Thomas lazily shifted back into his preferred face as he uncoiled from around Jareth.
"Goliath we should make camp." Thomas said while pointing towards a small oasis about 20 feet in diameter and surrounded by tree cover. Jareth knew immediately that it was a spot of great tactical advantage.
Goliath's knowledge seemed to seep into his mind.
"Sounds good." Jareth said to Thomas as Thomas kept first watch. Jareth laid down and began to drift off to sleep.
