The young couple left for Hawaii for their honeymoon. During the whole trip Ivy was working and Jake was sleeping or typing. Ivy wondered what he was doing but decided not to ask. After hours of travel they reached their destination. They hired a cab and went to the hotel where Eddy booked suite rooms for them.
Ivy went to reception and said to the receptionist.
"Hi, I am Ivy Jonas. Mr. Eddy Jonas has booked two rooms under the name of Mr.Jake Miller and me."
"W...Wait a second ma'am" the receptionist said, staring at her scar.
"Ma'am there is only one suite room booked that too under the name of Mr. Mrs Miller."
Ivy sighed and said"Yeah! That one!" Ivy didn't like it when they mentioned her as Mrs. Miller.
"Ma'am could you please give me your ID proof!" The receptionist surely did recognised that the person standing in front of her is the famous business woman Ivy Jonas, no Ivy Miller. Still, hotel procedure!
"Sure!" Ivy said.
After waiting for a few minutes she got her room card and a worker in the hotel showed them their room.
Jake settled on the couch and continued working on his laptop.
Ivy took out her mobile phone and called Rosh.
"Rosh, come to suite number 306."
"…"
"Ok!" Ivy disconnected the call.
"He is here?" Jake asked confused and Ivy just ignored his questions and took out her laptop. After a few minutes someone knocked on the door and Jake opened the door. It was Rosh.
"Good Afternoon ma'am."
"Afternoon. You prepared everything right?"
"Yes!"
"Rosh, contact Mr.Zhang's secratary and fix an appointment with him for the end of this week. He will be here till next week right?"
"Yes ma'am! But they still didn't agree with some of our conditions."
"I'll convince them, make sure that it is dinner appointment with him and his wife. Tht way it would be easier to convince them."
"Ok ma'am."
"And about Mr. Alarie, fix an golfing appointment with him. He has always been interested in golfing!"
"Ok ma'am! The contract." Rosh handed her some papers.
"Ok you may go now!" Ivy started going through the contract.
After a few minutes Ivy sat down beside Jake and he looked up at her.
"Please so through this contract? "
"What is this?"
"Marriage contract." hearing this Jake felt as if someone pricked his heart with a needle. He has been in love with this girl for over 10 years and always wanted to marry her and make her his wife. Now, she is his wife! He clearly know that this marriage didn't happen because of love. Atleast, not for her! But hearing the word 'marriage contract' reality hit him really hard and once again reminded his that 'this is not permanent!'
"Ok!" he said, hiding his emotions. He took the contract from her and started reading it.
1. This marriage will only last for a minimum period of 3 years or maximum 5 year.
2. Both the parties will be staying at the same house but different rooms in this period of time.
3. No intimate physical contact allowed.
4. Party B have to accompany party A to social events if needed.
"Do you have any more conditions to be added?"
"No! Pen!" Jake said.
"Here!" Ivy gave a pen to Jake and he signed the contract with a heavy heart.
"Good ,now we need a story!"
