I went to office as soon as I landed and started my work. As expected all the workers here started murmuring as soon as they saw me. Well!
"Our company doesn't pay you to gossip and waste your time!" Ivy said in a cold and calm voice. She was not shouting, but it scared them all. Ivy went to her cabin and started her work. After a few hours,she went to the finance department for a meeting. There were 10 minutes remaining for the meeting to start, so she stood beside the window and looked outside. There is a beautiful garden outside.
"Hey beautiful!" someone tapped on her shoulder. She turned around and it was Ezra, the girl who bullied her in school! Ezra was smiling ear to ear thinking about humiliating Ivy.
"Nice to meet you again!" Ezra said extending her hand. Ivy chuckled looking at her extended hand but didn't shook hands with her.
"Well…., It's not that nice for me!" Ivy said.
Ezra drew back her hand, embarrassed and her face grew dark.
"What are you doing here Ivy? You work here? I also work here! I am the finance manager of this company! Well, Ivy, if you need any help from me , don't be shy. Call me this is my business card." Ezra said with fake concern and took a card from her purse. She leaned forward to give her the card and in the process she knowingly poured the hot coffee in her hand on Ivy's chest and stomach. Ivy flinched in pain.
"Oh I am sorry! Let me…" Ezra took a tissue paper and was about to clean her dress but Ivy stopped her.
"I will pay for your dress!" Ezra said with a smirk.
"No need! I have enough clothes, evn without this!" saying this Ivy went back to her cabin.
Her friends from school never knew that she is the daughter of Eddy and Rose Jonas, only Laura and Jake knew this! Everyone in her school thought that she was taking advantage of Jake and using his money!
(20 minutes later)
Everyone including Ezra was waiting for there new CEO to arrive. Everyone want to impress their new CEO. Ezra wore branded clothes and made herself look extremely sexy. They all thought that the new CEO is man.
Someone entered the room and everyone stood up to greet their new CEO, but seeing Ivy, they all sat back down. Ezra smirked seeing her. Ivy directly went and sat down on the chair which was supposed for the CEO. Everyone looked at her wide eyed but she was cold and composed.
Seeing Ivy's confidence Ezra chuckled…
