Alexander was quick to hand off Juno. His mentor was also quick to accept such a gem. Especially after Alexander explained his crossing paths with a titan.
When he left, he left with several other immortals but Tovuo had long left the small town.
Luckily the smith lead him to the butcher who lead him to a farmer who pointed to the next town.
The other immortals only followed in silence.
At first, they thought this titan an improbability but soon the faces changed. Town after town the story was the same. Quickly the interest and pace of the group increased.
Still, town after town the same story was told first the smith, then a butcher and farmer. Finally, when all the leads had ran cold did they come across the trail of blood.
Blood and bodies, a trail of carnage that the immortals followed for days and weeks.
In the end the scene was even bloodier than they would have thought but they had thought themselves lucky to have made it in time.
A giant stood above a small army with a large blade in hand, slashing through groups of enemies at a time the giant slowly progressed forward.
In in wake walked a man not much taller than most covered from head to toe in blood. A blade in each hand he cut down the stragglers who seemingly escaped this giant.
The immortals where in shock as sever dropped to one knee giving respect.
A warrior looking immortal standing amongst the group spoke softly to the others. "Humbaba who stands amoungst the trees and ages like a mountain. What is such a monster doing in a place like this?"
"that child covered in blood, that must be Tovuo!" Alexander exclaimed.
With his loud cry Humbaba turned about as he cleaved the enemies in his path his sword came to a stop as it met with Tovuo's blade, lightning and thunder rolled over the battlefield.
