Dion and Hunter stare themselves down and I would rather not be bothered to know what that is all about so I just walk to the bush ignoring them, I'm about to leave without letting them know where I'm going when the thought of letting them know about my whereabouts comes to my mind.
I look back and forth between them, there's no way they hadn't noticed me leaving in the direction of the lake, right? And I won't be gone for long anyway.
So I leave with Arcotos and a shattered heart with a new resolve.
I locate the lake without difficulty, as I approach the lake I notice a part of the lake is red, it's almost unnoticeable but it's there if you look close enough.
Let's hope that's mostly from the mountain lion and not Arcotos' blood, I look at him, his fur is already drying up and returning to its full fluffy texture, it's as though he hadn't entered a fight at all.
