Thud!
Ashley closed her eyes tightly waiting for the pain to come to her but it never came. The next second, her lips parted in surprise and eyes shot up. She instantly rose up and looked at Joanne, who was lying down on the grass, eyes shut. Though she was trying her best to pretend that she wasn't in pain, looking at her lips pressed together, Ashley knew that she felt otherwise.
"I-Im so sorry! Oh my God!" Ashley looked at Joanne with a horrified expression.
Joanne, who heard her apology only groaned and opened her eyes lazily.
" Keep quiet." she whispered.
At an instant, Ashley covered her mouth when she realized that she was being careless again. She looked up at the branch from where they fell and turned pale at the fact that it was pretty high. She knew it wasn't the right time to admire Joanne but she couldn't help it. After all, she fell in one piece with Ashley on top of her too.
